Ephesians 6:10-15
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.
God has given us an armour and he expect us to know how to use it, sometimes we pray about certain things; we may not see the initial change but God is working. God open up doors that are the best for you, he is the author and finisher of things.
We sometimes feel like there’s only one way, but our God is a God of multiple ways, Amen!
God’s thought are higher than our thoughts, his ways are higher than our ways. God’s word works, we expect to see a certain type of result but God knows best, his word is the uttermost.
To be strong in the Lord, you have to put on the armour of God. The earth is a battle ground between good and evil, the enemy presents deception in areas, he seduce, which is why you should have an armour of God to help you see the devil for who he is. He is a liar, he will presents some truth but the end result is to grab you! he baits you, the armour enables you to resist him.
The first part of the armour is walking in truth, the knowledge of truth, John 10 Jesus referred to the devil as the father of lies, guard your loins with truth, we all have areas in our lives were we are vulnerable, ask God to cover you. The enemy will come against you, attack you when you are about to step into a new level, resist him and he will flee from you.
We are not perfect, so admit your vulnerability and seek help from God through prayers, the word etc. Truth is the word, aligning ourselves with what the word says.
Ephesians 4:27
Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil.
Do not give the devil loopholes, he is looking for whom to devour, pray to God, be angry but do not sin, don’t take your anger to a level and allow the devil to work with it. Cover your chest (breastplate) with righteousness.
Righteousness is about our heart,men looks at the outward appearance, God looks from the heart. Let righteousness over your heart, the armour will guard you, protect you from the devil. To the best of your ability do what is right and let God do the rest. Guard your loins with truth, the enemy is patient enough to wait and then attack.
Jesus said the prince of this world comes but he has nothing over me, do honest work so the devil will not have any control over you, be steadfast, walk in truth, in righteousness.
You might be looking at the door that looks close but the fact that you are praying and seeking God, he will work to open the right doors for you.
Ephesians 3:20
Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
We need to Put on the breastplate of righteousness!
Proverbs 4:23
Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flows the springs of life.
David had a heart after God, God judges us by our heart, his eyes is going to and fro looking for those who diligently seek him. Don’t harden your heart when God is talking to you, sin can harden our heart, protect and guard your heart always. Armour yourselves with the breastplate of righteousness so you are not influenced by sin.
What is the inward working of your heart?
Are you doing things for God’s work or to look good to mankind
David in Psalm 139 :23 prayed to God saying;
Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Ezekiel 28 talks about Lucifer,he was an awesome angelic being, he had all splendor, he was the anointed cherubim guarding the throne, he was called son of the morning, with such beauty,splendor, power, pride took the better of him. Please protect your heart, the good and the bad. The God we serve is a humble God, he is not into showing off his glory.
Jesus said, i saw him (satan) falling like lightening.
Guard your feet/steps in the Lord, walking in the peace of God, protect yourselves from this world, God is not angry with humanity, the message of the gospel is God’s love for us. The gospel is not here to scare us, it gives us peace, protect yourself from the fear of the god of this world.
Philippians 4:5-6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplications with thanks giving let your request be made known to God.
Anything that makes you feel anxious, turn it into a prayer point and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Anxiety is a form of fear, it is the way the kingdom of darkness works when the enemy wants to so something, he brings fear, fear is an attractive force just as faith is an attractive force!
When the enemy wants to do you wrong, he brings about fear to programme your mind for his purpose, don’t allow him! resist it, put on the armour of God.
The desires of the righteous shall prosper, we can turn anxiety to a prayer point. Anytime fearful thoughts or suggestion comes to your mind, release it to God by praying until you have a peace, that peace will guard (surround) you, it surpasses all understanding, it is a peace that’s not quantify, it overshadows understanding, encompasses understanding. In the natural it may seem like nothing has change but on the spiritual, there is peace in you, Amen!
The scripture talks about coming under the peace of God, Jesus wants us to live under his peace, you will live healthier, longer.
John 16:33
Jesus said; I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.
Whilst you in this world God wants you to know his peace, God’s work is to be enjoyed not endured.The preparation of the peace of God is an attitude of readiness, it guides us to be ready to share, our goings and our comings, God prepares us to reach out to his children, you should be ready in and out of season for the prompting of the work of God. You can be a light for Christ in your job place, neighbourhood. That is part of the weapon use against the enemy. The enemy is not afraid to show himself public, he is not fearful to share his message, muslims are not embarrassed about praying even at the airport, we are to be ready with the gospel of truth, wear your armour!
There’s a confidence that all will be okay, because we are working with God, don’t let your mind run up on you, don’t allow the devil to take hold of your mind..
Colossians 3
Set your mind on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
Philippians 4 says; those things that are true, pure, of virtue....
Put your mind on the right things, if the enemy can take captive of your mind, he can defeat you in life. Protect your mind also means, protecting what you watch, read and hear, if you going to be successful you’ve got to read the right things, if you think negative all the time, that is what you will see around you the whole time. What you look for in life is what you will find.

Put on the helmet of salvation, the enemy works in the area of suggestions. he is the god of senses. Programmes on tv are most times full of negativity, wash your minds with the word of God, it is a protection in this life which is a battlefield. What goes into your mind frames you.
2 Corinthians 10:4
For the weapons of our warfare are not canal, but mighty through God casting down.
The Bible says; put on your helmet of salvation, cast down images that do not conform to the word of God, bring into captivity every thoughts to the obedience of God, the enemy will inject thoughts if you allow him,t he helmet of salvation is part of our discipline as a child of God. The enemy can put thoughts in your mind about self esteem, resist him, don’t wallow in self pity, guard your mind, don’t allow negativity. We are joyful because the joy of the Lord is our strength. The enemy doesn’t like that.
Habakkuk 3:17-19
Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet i will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation. God, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like deer’s; he makes me tread on my high places.
Don’t dwell on the negatives, focus on the positives. God opens doors, he takes care of us every step of the way, he provides. Do what you can and God will take care of the rest, Amen!
God responds to images, he will respond to your visual image that glorify him. God gave Abraham pictures of the stars and used it to tell him that this is how your descendants would be like (multitude)
Look at inspiring pictures, be around people that will inspire you, have the right images of the will of God in you. Have the right images of the will of God in you, have a demand for giving the holy spirit the focus in your life, your focus influences you. Be positive, the joy of the Lord is my strength, guide your atmosphere, surround yourself with inspiration. We are taking the helmet of salvation, the angels are attentive to the word of God so speak it! Be alert, God speaks through different ways, numbers, creation, people... be alert!
When God gives you a word, take it, speak it, it is relevant either now or in future situations, he gives you his word in the right direction.
Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.
Be vigilant, alert and wear the armour of salvation, the Lord is your strength!
